Abstract

One of the issues in the coalition government formed after the 2021 German federal elections was to fight racism throughout Germany. In this regard, Deutsche Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (DeZIM) (German Center for Integration and Migration Research) stated that starting from 2022, it would set up a regular racism monitoring mechanism. The Rassistische Realitäten (Racist Facts) report is one of the biggest steps taken in this regard. The report published in May 2022 examines racism in Germany in detail with its different dimensions. Within the scope of this analysis, after the six chapters that constitute the Rassistische Realitäten (Racist Facts) report have been reviewed respectively, the report has been discussed in the context of the Turkish and Muslim communities.
